As Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, Isabel Geffner helps to identify opportunities for increasing the organization’s impact, scale, and policy influence. She works to connect key Book Harvest Directors, team leaders, board members, and staff with external stakeholders and influencers, identifying and pursuing existing and new high-value opportunities and collaborations across programmatic, financial, and operational domains.

Isabel spent more than 20 years as a trade book publishing executive in New York City before moving to North Carolina where she has worked in counseling and in academic and non-profit management roles to develop and implement programming, marketing, and fundraising.

Isabel received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Stony Brook University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
